Salted Manuka Honey Butter

Ingredients

225 g (1 cup) unsalted butter – softened to room temperature

120 g Nature’s Gold Honey  (MGO 30 or 83 is a great choice)

2 Tbsp Soft Icing (Confectioners ) Sugar

½ tsp Sea Salt ground

½ tsp Cinnamon (optional)

Method

1.     Mix the butter with an electric mixer until creamy for a couple of minutes, then add the remaining ingredients and keep mixing until well combined.

2.    Whip the honey butter until it reaches the consistency that you desire – the longer that you mix the more whipped it will become. 

3.    Store in a clean, dry jar.  This will last in the fridge for a couple of months.

*If you would like it a bit saltier, use normal butter, not the unsalted.
